The Time Has Come to Blog Again

Happy New Year readers of the WBD! Hope the holidays were full of fresh powder, good people, and lots of treats!

I've decided that since we seem to be somewhat settled into our new home and the small one has agreed to share part of her office (the part under the desk that's really fluffy where I get LOTS of belly rubs) I finally have some more time to tell you about what I've been up to.

As you may know, the peeps finally found a house that is to their liking. FINALLY! I was beginning to think it would never happen so I'd actually made an appt. to check myself into the local adoption agency but I'm glad it didn't come to that cause check out these digs! This photo was day one of getting some furniture in the house after we spent A LOT of time painting walls and trim and ceilings and installing these very slippery bamboo floors (thanks grandogrents!). The place is awesome! Of course, the best part is the yard and the big creek that's in the back yard. I spend a lot of my time hunting fish and birds and strange hoofed animals outside. We also share the residence with a squirrel named Pumpkin who lives in the Sauna. He sits on the roof of the sauna and I sit in the living room and we stare at each other through the window for hours. He's great. That's really the biggest news from this wiggly black dog as of late. We're just really enjoying having a home, fixing it up and trying to "increase it's awesome" as the peeps say before it's time to begin moving dirt around in the yard and building those rolly things they ride their bikes on. I don't really get it. It's super hard to chase them on such obstacles because they are constantly hopping around in the air and changing direction but it seems to bring em joy so I just go with it. So, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here's to lots of exciting adventures for ya'll!

You might want to tell Moxy that squirrel was renamed. It is Chester, not Pumkin.
