The Wells'

The Tall One's Dad came out for a visit last weekend. While the people worked on house projects I dug holes around the yard, hunted salamanders in the creek, ate sticks and begged for food. The small one dognapped me for a couple fun rides too! Here are some photos of our Saturday working in the yard.

These flowers (bleeding hearts) are popping all over the yard. They, however do not taste as good as they look.

Here we have the Wells boys burning stuff.

And now they're working hard making sure the fire doesn't spread. Apparently this task requires quite a bit of beer.

Oh, and I don't know if I've shown you this but the small one finally has a tree fort (she always wanted one so it was a big selling point on the house). I can't get in so I just circle the perimeter and bark occasionally to remind her that I'm all alone on the ground.

And here's Tom making sure the rake doesn't get away while enjoying the warm toasty fire that raged all weekend. I have a lot less sticks to eat now.

The small one found these while clearing yard debris. Luckily when she went back to see if they'd been abandoned the mama bird was happily keeping them warm. Now they just have to keep me from eating them!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
